Abstract

["eprint_fieldname_abstract_plus" not defined]

In the first years of school, pre-existing mental behavioral problems of children in special education schools make a specific promotion of social and emotional skills urgently necessary. To test the effectiveness of the extended Lubo training in the use of children with special educational needs in the areas of learning and behavioral disorders, the training was evaluated in a study with 225 pupils in special education schools (EBD/LD). To check the effects of the program in the indicated prevention, a summative evaluation with pre, post and three-month follow-up in the areasemotional-social skills, at-risk behavior, academic skills and potential of intellectual performance was performed. To verify the effects t-tests and multifactorial analyses of variance was used. The summative evaluation pointed out effects in the outcome areas of emotional-social skills, academic skills and reduction of behavior disorders.
