Abstract

Inklusion soll weltweit die ungleiche Chancenverteilung in der Bildungspolitik verändern. Sie soll ein gleichberechtigtes Zusammenleben in Verschiedenheit ermöglichen und erhält durch aktuelle internationale Gesetzgebungen Umsetzungspriorität. Im Nordosten Brasiliens wurde während einer prozessbegleitenden Evaluationsforschung über zwei Jahre, das Projekt „Mosaico“ entwickelt. Ein Versuch, Inklusion im lokalen, öffentlichen Schulsystem umzusetzen. Das Projekt eröffnete Möglichkeiten Schüler mit und ohne Behinderung gemeinsam zu beschulen, Lehrer für inklusiven Unterricht weiterzubilden sowie die Gesellschaft zu sensibilisieren. Die entwickelten Strategien des Projektes „Mosaíco“ können im internationalen Vergleich bereichernd sein, indem diese auf dem Hintergrund der jeweiligen Rahmenbedingungen diskutiert werden.

Inclusion in the educational system is meant to change the unequal distribution of opportunities worldwide. It should enable a coexistence in diversity based on equal rights, and it can be achieved under existing international law by giving priority to implementing inclusion in the educational system. In the Northeast of Brazil an ongoing evaluation took place over two years as the project „Mosaico“ was developing. It was an attempt to implement inclusion policies in the local public school system. The project opened up opportunities for students (disabled or not) to study together. It enabled the education of teachers about inclusive education, and the raising of awareness in society. The strategies developed through „Mosaico“ can enrich similar situations internationally, taking into account their different backgrounds.
