Abstract

Die Studie leistet auf der erkenntnistheoretischen Grundlage eines 'Integrativen Konstruktivismus' und der Systemtheorien einen theoretischen Beitrag bei der Erforschung des Zusammenhanges von Gesundheit und Krankheit im sozialen System Familie. Familien werden hierbei als Rahmen angesehen, in dem sich Strukturen für krankheitsfördernde, aber auch gesundheitserhaltende Prozesse herausbilden. Im empirischen Teil der Studie wird der Versuch unternommen, einen konstruktivistischen Ansatz im Kontext multiperspektivischer Blickwinkel auf ein Problemfeld anzuwenden. Hierzu werden mit Hilfe der Genografischen Mehrebenenanalyse die familiären Lebenszusammenhänge von 74 Frauen mit Anorexie, bzw. Bulimie und Frauen mit einer Essstörung und einer zusätzlichen stoffgebundenen Sucht ('Multiple Süchte') analysiert. Die Untersuchungsergebnisse weisen auf vielfältige Dysfunktionen der familiären Strukturen hin, die sich in einem Konstruktionsprozess in der Spannung zwischen familiärer Desorganisation und subjektiver Bewältigungspraxis entwickeln.

The aim of the study is a theoretical contribution about the connection of health and illness in the social system family on the epistemological basis of an 'integrated constructivism' and the system theories. Families are considered here as a structural frame in which illness producing as well as health preserving processes are developed. The empirical part of the study attempts to apply a constructivism approach within a multiperspective context of the problem area. The family life conditions of 74 women with anorexia or bulimia, and women with an eating disorder and an additional substance bound addiction (multiple addiction) are analyzed. The findings point out various dysfunctions of family structures with result in a construction process that develops between family disorganization and subjective coping strategies.
