Abstract

Constraint-Handling with Support Vector Decoders in Distributed Optimization

["eprint_fieldname_abstract_plus" not defined]

Optimization in dynamically organized systems usually cannot access a static optimization model. In a smart grid load planning scenario individual energy units have to be assigned a schedule from their own specific solution space to gain a desired accumulated load schedule. This work develops a solution that integrates abstract representations of search spaces and restricting constraints into a dynamic optimization model. A solver will need no domain specific information about original models. With the help of a support vector based decoder, valid solutions are systematically generated. The solver does not need any own constraint handling. All steps including evaluation results are presented from gaining the abstract search space representation to the integration into several centralized as well as distributed optimization algorithms.
