Abstract

Im Jahr 2001 wurde begonnen, die Kleinschmetterlings-Fauna (Microlepidoptera) auf der nordfriesischen Insel Sylt in den verschiedenen Jahreszeiten zu erforschen. Die Ergebnisse bis zum Jahr 2011 werden dargestellt. Es wird versucht, die Bindung der Arten an küstentypische Biotope bzw. Pflanzen der Dünen und der Salzwiesen sowie an weitere für die Insel charakteristische Biotope darzulegen. Viele Arten werden mit Hinweisen zur Bionomie aus eigenen Beobachtungen und durch Auswertung der Fachliteratur kommentiert. Für einige bemerkenswerte Arten wird ein Zusammenhangmit der faunistischen Forschung in Deutschland und in Schleswig-Holstein hergestellt. Die Beobachtungen werden ergänzt durch die ersten Aufsammlungen von Microlepidoptera durch H. Evers (Hamburg), H. Koehn (Kampen auf Sylt) und O. Tiedemann (Hamburg) bis zum Jahr 1969. Bis zum Ende des Jahres 2010 sind insgesamt 549 Arten aus 31 Familien derMicrolepidoptera von Sylt bekannt geworden. Eine aktuell nachgewiesene Art, Elachista scirpi, ist ein Erstfund für Deutschland. Die vier aktuell beobachteten Arten Scythris potentillella, Cydia lunulana, Acleris rufana und Wockia asperipunctella sind Erstfunde für Schleswig-Holstein. ImAnhang werden alle nicht kommentierten, auf Sylt nachgewiesenen Arten in einer Checkliste zusammengestellt.

Microlepidoptera of selected habitats of the North Frisian island of Sylt. – An investigation on themoth fauna (Microlepidoptera) dependent on the different seasons was started in 2001 on the North Frisian island of Sylt. The results until 2011 are presented. This document is an attempt to demonstrate the species bond to the coastal habitats of dunes, saltmarshes, and further characteristic habitats on the island. Many species are commented in respect to the bionomy resulting from my own observations and by analysis of the literature. For some remarkable species there is a relationship to the sampling methods of the faunistic research in Germany and Schleswig-Holstein. The observations are completed by unpublished records of Microlepidoptera by Evers, Koehn, and Tiedemann until 1969. 549 species of 31 Microlepidoptera families of the island were reported until 2010. Elachista scirpi is recorded for Germany for the first time; Scythris potentillella, Cydia lunulana, Acleris rufana, and Wockia asperipunctella are first records for Schleswig-Holstein. All non-commented, proven species of Sylt are summarised in the appendix.
