Abstract

Die Arbeit behandelt die Analyse und Gestaltung von Simulatorsettings für die Aus- und Weiterbildung in und am Beispiel der Anästhesiologie. Im Theorieteil wird der Hintergrund des Einsatzes von Simulatoren zur Erhöhung der Patientensicherheit dargestellt, ein Modell des Simulatorsettings und seiner organisationalen Einbindung entwickelt und das Simulatorsetting als Sozialpraxis aus semantischer Perspektive als Forschungsgegenstand gesetzt. Konzepte zur differenzierten Beschreibung von Wirklichkeit und Simulation und Ansätze zur Gestaltung von Settings werden für die Patientensimulation fruchtbar gemacht. Im empirischen Teil werden Interviews mit Teilnehmern zum Erleben der Simulation nach Fiktions- und Realitätssignalen ausgewertet. Interviews mit Instruktoren werden nach Zielen, Erfolgsfaktoren und Schwierigkeiten bei der Inszenierung des Simulatorsettings ausgewertet. Beobachtungen von Simulationsszenarien und Nachbesprechungen ermöglichen eine Außenperspektive. Aus der Diskussion der Ergebnisse werden unter Rückgriff auf die Theorie Gestaltungsempfehlungen für Simulatorsettings abgeleitet.

This thesis is about the analysis and design of simulator settings for education and training in anaesthesiology as an example. In its theoretical parts background is given concerning the use of simulators to improve patient safety, a model of the simulator setting and its organisational integration is developed, and the simulator setting as a social practice is set as the research object from a semantic perspective. Concepts for the differentiated description of reality and simulation as well as approaches to design settings are applied to patient simulation. In the empirical part of this thesis, interviews with simulation participants are analysed for fiction- and reality signs during simulation. Interviews with simulator instructors are analysed for goals, success factors and difficulties during the staging of simulator settings. Additional observations allow for an outside perspective. From the discussion of the results and while using the theoretical concepts recommendations for the design of simulator settings are developed. A section on future research closes this thesis.
