Abstract

Ziel der Arbeit lag in der Erfassung und Untersuchung der subjektiven Perspektiven von sozial benachteiligten Kindern und Jugendlichen im Alter von zwölf bis siebzehn Jahren zu ihrer Wahrnehmung ihrer politischen Partizipationsformen und -möglichkeiten in der Kinderrepublik Benposta. Die dort lebenden Kinder und Jugendlichen handeln innerhalb eines Handlungsraums, der durch das Umfeld, die Strukturen, Regeln und Routinen der Organisation beeinflusst ist. Insgesamt versuchte ich, das doing participation von Kindern und Jugendlichen zu rekonstruieren, also anhand des empirischen Materials herauszuarbeiten um ihr Bild als Subjekte zu erforschen. Dabei zeigt die Studie auf, wie Kinder und Jugendliche innerhalb eines bestimmten Handlungsraums agieren und wie sie selbst diese Partizipation wahrnehmen.

Self-organization of socially disadvantaged children and young people in Colombia: possibilities and perspectives of political participation

The aim of the work was to record and investigate the subjective perspectives of socially disadvantaged children and adolescents between the ages of twelve and seventeen regarding their perception of their political participation forms and opportunities in the Children's Republic of Benposta. The children and young people living there act within a space of action that is influenced by the environment, the structures, rules and routines of the organization. Overall, I tried to reconstruct the doing participation of children and adolescents, i.e. to work out the empirical material in order to research their image as subjects. The study shows how children and young people act within a certain area of action and how they themselves perceive this participation.
