Abstract
We demonstrate how various linear stochastic models could be transformed to standard SEM-models (structure equation models) within the LISREL framework. The original models range from uni- to multivariate, from discrete to continuous, and from static to dynamic modes. The benefit of this transformation is the possibility to formulate nearly arbitrarily complex models at one hand while using standard SEM-software for estimation of parameters at the other hand.
