Abstract

Die Anforderungen regulatorischer Aufsichtsbehörden haben eine Komplexität und Veränderungshäufigkeit erreicht, die für den Bankensektor strategische Dimensionen angenommen haben. Komplexität und Heterogenität in der IT-Architektur von Banken sind häufig ursächlich für dezentrale Funktionen bei der Bewertung von Finanzprodukten und der Ermittlung von Risikokennzahlen. Einheitliche Verfahren und die zentrale Informationsbereitstellung sind oft nicht realisiert. Diese Faktoren beeinflussen jedoch entscheidend die Möglichkeit, regulatorische Anforderungen fristgerecht und effizient umzusetzen sowie die time-to-market und das Modellrisiko kontrollierbar und gering zu halten.Mit der Einführung des informationsbasierten Architekturmodells und der beispielhaft entwickelten Zielarchitektur wird ein weiterer Beitrag für die Gestaltung einer Unternehmensarchitektur geleistet.

The requirements issued by regulatory supervisory authorities are now so complex and they change with such frequency that they have acquired strategic significance for the banking sector. Complexity and heterogeneity in the IT architecture of banks are often the reason behind decentralized functions when evaluating financial products and calculating key risk figures. Often procedures are not standardized and there is no centralized information retrieval system. However, these factors have a key impact on whether regulatory requirements can be implemented by the deadlines and in an efficient manner, as well as on keeping the time-to-market and the model risk manageable and low. The introduction of the information-based architectural model and the target architecture developed in this example will constitute a further contribution to the design of an enterprise architecture.
