Abstract

The hybrid author : subject-making and the practice of autofictional self-staging in the contemporary German-language literature

["eprint_fieldname_abstract_plus" not defined]

The dissertation is devoted to six autofiktional texts of contemporary German-language literature and considers each of them as a self-staging performance from the perspective of subjectivation. At first a praxeological examination of the special constitutional conditions of the practice takes place, which are reconstructed from the formal text features. These are characterized by intersubjective and -objective structures, because the real author interacts with artifacts such as writing instruments and language in every self-staging performance, and in the fictional mode, he makes himself appear as an author in the text and thereby attracts the attention of the readers. This self-configuration represents the formation of a subject, which manifests itself in the text and becomes perceptible in the reading process. The fact that it can be identified in the form of a hybrid author can be seen from a culture-sociological character analysis.
