Abstract

Saumgesellschaften magerer Standorte waren bislang im norddeutschen Tiefland nur ungenügend dokumentiert. Unter anderem aus Anlass der Erstellung der „Pflanzengesellschaften Mecklenburg- Vorpommerns“ wurde die Neubeschreibung von zwei Assoziationen nötig. Das Agrostio capillaris-Agrimonietum procerae ass. nov. ist eine mesophytische Saumgesellschaft, die von Agrimonia procera dominiert wird. Das Artemisio campestris-Vincetoxicetum hirundinariae ass. nov. ist eine xerophytische Staudenflur der Ostseeküste, die von Vincetoxicum hirundinaria beherrscht wird. Beide Gesellschaften werden durch Tabellen dokumentiert und floristisch, standörtlich und chorologisch charakterisiert. Ferner wird ihre synsystematische Stellung diskutiert: Sie gehören innerhalb der Klasse Trifolio-Geranietea sanguinei zur Unterklasse Trifolio-Geranienea sanguinei. Das Agrostio-Agrimonietum lässt sich am besten im Trifolion medii innerhalb einer emendierten Ordnung Origanetalia vulgaris der mesophytischen Säume fassen. Das Artemisio-Vincetoxicetum dagegen wird in den Zentralverband Galio littoralis-Geranion sanguinei der xerophytischen Ordnung Antherico ramosi-Geranietalia sanguinei gestellt.

Two new fringe associations of the class Trifolio-Geranietea sanguinei from the North German lowland. – Fringe communities from poor sites of the North German lowland have been known insufficiently so far. According to our studies the description of two new phytosociological associations seems necessary. The Agrostio capillaris-Agrimonietum procerae ass. nov. is a mesophytic fringe community dominated by Agrimonia procera. The Artemisio campestris-Vincetoxicetum hirundinariae is a xerophytic tall-herb community from the Baltic coast dominated by Vincetoxicum hirundinaria. Both plant communities are documented by phytosociological tables and characterised floristically, ecologically and chorologically. Furthermore their syntaxonomic position is discussed. Both of them belong to the sub-class Trifolio-Geranienea sanguinei within the Trifolio-Geranietea sanguinei. The Agrostio-Agrimonietum should be included in the Trifolion medii within the emended order Origanetalia vulgaris of the mesophytic fringe communities whereas the Artemisio-Vincetoxicetum belongs to the central alliance Galio littoralis-Geranion sanguinei within the xerophytic order Antherico ramosi-Geranietalia sanguinei.
